The Challenge:
Presented with the opportunity to create the brand identity, store design, and ecommerce experience for a sexual wellness boutique, rooted in social responsibility and purpose, in an accelerated timeline, Blackmouth leaped at the chance.
The Solution:
By deep diving into Vespertine Boutique’s brand ethos and customer profile, Blackmouth created a brand identity best representing their commitment to purpose. These assets included a logo emblem, wordmark, brand copy, color palette, and typography. The brand palette was translated into a store concept and ecommerce design. Inspired by a minimalist yet bohemian, modern yet vintage style – the store design brings a light, bright, and inviting environment to the store front, while creating a sensual space in back-of-house to cultivate a sense of private intimacy. The ecommerce experience uses minimalist photography focused on Vespertine brand ideals which are tightly cropped to capture the moment. Ecommerce is also organized to optimize the customer’s shopping experience while maximizing their time on site.
This purpose driven project provided Blackmouth an opportunity to showcase our branding, strategy, and digital capabilities. New competencies we have recently acquired the inhouse expertise to deliver against.
